Fallopian tubes are part of female reproductive system that is attached to the uterus from one side and ovaries on the other. A blocked fallopian tube prevents sperm from reaching the eggs and the fertilized eggs return to the uterus. Scar tissues, infections, and pelvic adhesions cause due to fallopian tube blockages.
Blocked fallopian tubes can be opened surgically but it depends on the degree of scars and the location of blockage.
